Three new clubs have joined the list of suitors for Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic with Real Betis, Valencia and Lazio now all pursuing a deal for the Croatian international.

Deportes ABC de Sevilla report that Betis have been in discussions with the Blues for the past few days, and are willing to pay between €2m and €3m to sign the 22 year old. They say that negotiations are progressing slowly.

Italian website Tuttomercatoweb meanwhile report that Betis’s La Liga rivals Valencia are interested in securing a deal for the midfielder, and that Serie A side Lazio are also seeking to make an offer for the player.

Pasalic has been loaned out for three consecutive seasons by Chelsea since arriving for £2.1m from Hajduk Split in 2014. He has experience of three top flight divisions after season long loan spells at Elche, Monaco and AC Milan.

With the Rossoneri last season, the midfielder made 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
