Santos midfielder Thiago Maia says he is “happy” with the interest being shown in him from a number of clubs.

Telefoot report that Chelsea, Lille and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested in the Brazilian and speaking exclusively to the French TV station, Maia revealed he would discuss things with his agent and consider his options:

“I saw on the Internet and in the newspapers that the Lille were also interested. I do not know more. I will discuss with my agent this week to make a point to find out what’s good for me. But I am happy with this interest, that means that I have worked well.”

The 20 year old played for Brazil at the 2014 Olympic Games, winning a Gold medal. He started the first two group games in the tournament against South Africa and Iraq, but after picking up two yellow cards in those matches, he was suspended for the third group match against Denmark, and failed to regain his place. He came on as a substitute against Colombia in the quarter final but was left on the bench for the semi final and final.

For Santos, he has made 63 appearances in all competitions since making his debut against Chapecoense in October 2014. He has scored three goals and provided one assist so far in his domestic club career.
