The big games are coming thick and fast for Antonio Conte…

Such is life in the Premier League, there is no time to rest on laurels and expect an easy ride. From December until May, it is full steam ahead, with plenty of opportunities to bet on your favourite football teams.

For Chelsea, in particular, games are racking up quickly – with each more important than the last. Chelsea are, of course, leading the way in the English top flight so far – with a stellar 9 point lead currently held by the Blues.

Anything can happen in the Premier League, though, as Liverpool showed on Tuesday evening. Despite the Reds suffering a poor run of form in January, they pulled out a big performance against the Blues – holding Antonio Conte’s side to a tough 1-1 draw.

The same can be said for Chelsea’s next fixture, a tough game against Arsenal, and whilst the Gunners lost earlier in the week – anything can happen when two big sides face off.

The pressure will be on Antonio Conte to extend his lead at the top, and so he must ensure that he picks the right players for the job, and, perhaps more specifically, he needs to ensure that THESE TWO players start…

 Pedro

Pedro didn’t start against Liverpool, and that was probably a mistake from Antonio Conte.

The Spaniard has impressed in recent weeks, and Willian did deserve a chance – but perhaps it isn’t Pedro that should have made way for him.

Pedro is vital to the way Chelsea play going forward, given that he offers a real direct, offensive edge to the Chelsea attack – and they bitterly lacked that against Liverpool.

He came on and changed the game, and a start makes sense.

 Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas would love a chance to get one up on his old team, and a start makes a lot of sense.

N’Golo Kante was a machine on Tuesday night, proving that he didn’t need Nemanja Matic alongside him.

Fabregas adds a real threat to the Chelsea midfield, and that is something that we have lacked over the last few weeks.

He has looked good whenever he has played.
