Goals from Gary Cahill and Diego Costa were enough to seal the points for Chelsea, though they were far from dominant through much of the game.
In truth, Chelsea were lucky to be ahead going into the break – though they should have had a penalty early on after what looked like a foul on Pedro, which was not given.
It took until the closing moments for the Blues to seal the points, with Chelsea captain Gary Cahill stepping up to the plate as he so often has this season with the second goal.
Antonio Conte will likely have spent the last few hours reflecting on another pretty impressive result for the Blues, and he no doubt will have learnt a few things from the game.
