The two sides have enjoyed very different seasons so far this year, and Antonio Conte will surely want to ensure that the Blues come out on top.

Chelsea sit at the top of the Premier League, and in truth, every game should be won by the club – though it doesn’t always work out that way. Chelsea lost to Tottenham in their last Premier League game, and that will surely have had an impact on squad morale – though they will likely be keen to bounce back.

That being said, the Blues have been unstoppable this season – and you would expect the side to win the game on Saturday.

Anything less than a dominant victory will be considered a disappointment for Antonio Conte – with the Blues, on paper, the far better side, and there are a number of reasons as to why the Blues should come out on top.

With that said, here are 3 reasons why Chelsea will surely beat Leicester City this weekend…

 Form

Based on current form, Chelsea should be able to win the game pretty comfortably.

The loss against Tottenham aside, Chelsea have been pretty unstoppable this season, and whilst suffering defeat against their London rivals will surely have hurt the Blues – it is unlikely to cause any long-term damage.

Chelsea went on a 13 game winning streak in the lead up to the game, and so there is no doubting how well the Blues are playing at the moment.

Leicester City, conversely, are struggling to repeat their impressive form from last season – with Claudio Ranieri seriously struggling at the helm of the Foxes. They are only 6 points from the relegation zone at present, with a swift turnaround in form required.

Chelsea are flying, whilst Leicester are sinking – so there should only be 1 winner.

 Diego Costa

Chelsea’s game changer.

Diego Costa is, undoubtedly, the Premier League’s best forward at present – and he has won Chelsea games on his own over the last few weeks.

Normally, if Costa plays well – Chelsea win, and more often than not, he has played well over the last few weeks.

He hasn’t scored in a few weeks, so will surely want to put that right and pick one up against the Foxes. Leicester City have struggled defensively this season, so they could be ripe for the taking.

 Back To Winning Ways

The Tottenham loss surely hurt the Chelsea players – and they must bounce back.

The Lilywhites posed the first real threat to Chelsea’s supremacy in a few months, and it would be easy for the player’s heads to drop.

However, Conte has instilled an impressive winning spirit into the Chelsea team this season, and they will undoubtedly be looking to put things right as soon as possible – and the best way to do that is by winning football matches.

Chelsea hadn’t tasted defeat in months, and they undoubtedly will want to avoid tasting it again for the rest of the season. They will be desperate to win the game, and that could see them through.
