The final few days of the transfer window look likely to be busy for Chelsea…

A host of players have been touted with a departure this month, with the likes of Asmir Begovic and Charly Musonda both likely to leave over the coming days – with a number of young players also in with a chance of being granted a move.

The ever-revolving door at Chelsea has remained swinging all month, and after a few quiet days – another player has now passed through it.

As confirmed by Chelsea on their official website, young defender Dion Conroy has completed a move from Chelsea to Swindon, with the young defender joining the League One side on a deal until 2019.

Conroy follows the likes of John Obi Mikel, Oscar and Patrick Bamford out of Stamford Bridge, with the Blues seemingly carrying out somewhat of a clear out behind the scenes this month.

A defender by trade, Conroy has been impressing during his years within the Chelsea academy – and had spent the 2016/17 season on loan at Aldershot up until this point.

A 21-year-old defender, Conroy had yet to make any sort of movement into the Chelsea first team, and so the chance of the defender becoming a regular at Stamford Bridge seemed unlikely.
