All good things must come to an end…
Against Stoke City, Chelsea made history by equalling the consecutive wins record in the Premier League in a single season – matching Arsenal’s 13 – with many Blues hoping that they would be able to go one better and better the record.
All that stood in their way was a tough away trip at White Hart Lane against Tottenham, and unfortunately for the Blues – it was not to be.
Despite looking unbeatable in recent weeks, Conte’s men slipped to a 2-0 defeat against their London rivals – much to the disappointment of Antonio Conte.
A couple of headed goals by Dele Alli were enough to seal the points for the Lilywhites on a night where a number of Conte’s key men looked poor, with N’Golo Kante, Diego Costa and Pedro in particular looking slightly out of sorts
However, despite the defeat, all is not lost. The Blues are still top of the Premier League, and they remain favourites for the title come May – and surprisingly, the Chelsea fans around the world are still feeling pretty optimistic.
After a succession of wins, many are feeling that one loss is just a drop in the ocean – and they are keeping the faith with Antonio Conte.
With that said, here are 6 OPTIMISTIC Chelsea fan reactions after the disappointing defeat against Tottenham…
We're still gonna win the league
