If reports by the Telegraph are to be believed, Chelsea look set to sell striker Patrick Bamford for a fee that could rise to £10 million…

It would certainly be impressive business from the Blues, especially when you consider that Bamford has yet to feature in the first team since his arrival. Signed from Nottingham Forest in 2011, big things were expected from the young English forward.

He impressed on a number of lower league loans, but the Premier League has proven to be a tough nut to crack for the striker – with failed spells at Burnley and Crystal Palace putting question marks over the longevity of his Chelsea career.

Now it would appear as though that career is set to come to an end, with the Blues closing in on a deal to take the striker away from Stamford Bridge.

When you consider the lack of action in the Premier League that Bamford has had, it makes you wonder how the Blues have managed to get a potential £10 million out of him – but such is the cost of young English talent.

Unsurprisingly, the Chelsea fans on Twitter have had their say on the deal – and many are nearly unanimous in their thinking – what a deal this is for Chelsea.

With that said, here are 6 of the best Chelsea fan reactions to Bamford’s proposed £10m Chelsea move…
