The games keep on coming for Chelsea and Antonio Conte…

After victory against West Brom at the weekend, next up for Chelsea is a game against relegation strugglers Sunderland.

The David Moyes-led side have undergone somewhat of a resurgence in recent weeks, having picked up their first few wins of the season – with the Black Cats seemingly desperate to remain in the Premier League beyond the end of the season.

It will be no easy feat for Moyes’ men, but if they continue their fine form against Chelsea – they could shock the world.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will be expected to win the game and win it comfortably – with a fully fit and impressive squad at Antonio Conte’s disposal.

You would expect the Italian to make a couple of changes, given the short layover between the West Brom game and this game – but wholesale changes are unlikely.

With that said, if Conte picks this 3-4-3 Chelsea XI then they will surely demolish West Brom…

 GK – Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois has been a constant under Conte so far, and you would expect that to continue going forward.

He has looked good lately.

CB – Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill put in an excellent performance last weekend, and will need a repeat showing against Sunderland.

CB – David Luiz

David Luiz has been stellar, though he looked shaky at West Brom.

He must bounce back.

CB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta is always reliable, and there are no concerns ahead of the Sunderland clash.

 LWB – Marcos Alonso

How good has Marcos Alonso been?

He offers a real threat down the left-hand side.

 CM – N’Golo Kante

N’Golo Kante is the glue that holds this team together.

A stellar performance is a given.

 CM –  Nemanja Matic

Nemanja Matic came straight back into the side last weekend, and you would expect him to keep his place.

He is keeping Fabregas out for a reason.

 RWB – Victor Moses

Victor Moses has been the standout player for Chelsea this season.

He hasn’t been perfect in recent weeks, but he looks solid. He must pick it up again.

 LW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard is the jewel in Chelsea’s crown.

His star has faded somewhat behind Costa as of late, but he knows how to shine bright.

A big performance is always on the cards.

 ST – Diego Costa

Chelsea’s danger man.

Costa was the match winner against West Brom, and it would take a brave man to bet against him doing the same against Sunderland.

A sure fire bet for Man of the Match.

 RW – Willian

Willian came on and looked great last weekend, and Pedro looked pretty ineffective before he came off.

Willian adds a real dimension to the Chelsea attack, and he desperately needs a start.

Give him a go, Antonio.
