Antonio Conte has a few big decisions to make for the Blues this weekend…
With victory against Bournemouth just a few days ago, Antonio Conte must already be thinking about who he is going to pick, or rather, more specifically, who he isn’t going to pick against Stoke City this weekend.
The Italian has a pretty sizeable squad to play with, and in recent weeks – he has opted to utilise a fairly similar first team each and every week.
However, with both N’Golo Kante and Diego Costa now back in the fold, a few very important decisions need to be made – and Conte must ensure that he makes the right calls.
What’s more, a few big games are coming up – so will that factor into his decision making?

Cesc Fabregas
Cesc Fabregas has come back into the Chelsea first team in recent weeks, but it is time for the duo of Matic and Kante to rekindle their partnership.
A couple of tough games against the likes of Tottenham are coming up, and whilst Fabregas is suitable against more defensively-minded opposition – he will be exposed against more high profile teams.
Matic and Kante have an excellent relationship in the midfield, and with Kante back from suspension – they need to reunite.
Their resolute midfield play will be vital.
Oscar
Oscar hasn’t really been on the mind of Antonio Conte so far this season, now more than ever.
Not only does this formation not really suit him, but with the Brazilian’s move to China now confirmed – there is little reason for the Blues to give him a run-out.
He could risk getting an injury, and he would also be taking the place of a more deserving player. His time in a blue shirt is over, and Conte must accept that.
