With the festive period really kicking into gear, Antonio Conte’s next game is a tough clash against Crystal Palace…

With victory at Sunderland still fresh in the memory, Chelsea’s next challenge is only days away.

A decent performance was had against Sunderland, with the Blues scraping through thanks to a goal from Cesc Fabregas in the first half and a stunning save from Thibaut Courtois in the closing minutes of the game.

In the Premier League, as Antonio Conte undoubtedly now learned, there is no time to dawdle and consider your thoughts after a game though – as the next one is always on the way.

Saturday lunchtime sees Chelsea move across London to Crystal Palace – with Alan Pardew’s men the latest test to Antonio Conte’s dominance.

It will, undoubtedly, be a tough game – with Pardew hoping to push his side out of danger in the Premier League; but Antonio Conte will undoubtedly be looking to pick a team that can take Chelsea’s winning streak to 11.

With that said, this 3-4-3 Chelsea XI will demolish Crystal Palace on Saturday…

 GK – Thibaut Courtois

Who else?

A fantastic performance against Sunderland has drawn Courtois back into the good books with the Chelsea fans – and they will be expecting a repeat display against Crystal Palace.

 CB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta might be playing out of position, but he is playing as impressively as ever.

He has formed a fantastic partnership with the others in this defence. A great player.

 CB – David Luiz

David Luiz has been undergoing a resurgence since he arrived back in London – despite suffering an injury at the hands of Sergio Aguero.

He looked better in mid-week.  Expecting more of the same.

 CB – Gary Cahill

The Chelsea captain in the absence of John Terry.

He was arguably the man of the match in mid-week. He is the glue that holds this defence together.

 LWB – Marcos Alonso

Marcos Alonso has been really good since he arrived.

He shouldn’t have too much trouble against Crystal Palace.

Expect him to contribute significantly to the attack.

 CM – N’Golo Kante

N’Golo Kante was everywhere against West Brom, and the role that he plays is hugely undervalued.

He is at the centre of everything that Chelsea do, and that will need to be the case on Saturday.

 CM – Cesc Fabregas

Fresh off of the back of a goal against Sunderland, Cesc Fabregas simply must keep his place.

His passess will be vital, with Palace likely to sit back and defend.

 RWB – Victor Moses

Victor Moses has been absolutely sensational this season.

He has made the right wing-back spot his own under Conte, and he has shown no signs of slowing down.

The Nigerian could even pop up with a goal.

 LW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard was injured for the Sunderland clash, but he should be available once again against Crystal Palace.

He has looked back to his best this season, with his attacking play proving impossible to deal with.

His combinations with Pedro are a joy to behold.

 ST – Diego Costa

How good is Diego Costa?

There are no debates – he is undoubtedly the Premier League’s best striker.

He has been crucial for the Blues so far this season, and that will continue this weekend.

 RW – Willian

Pedro has looked a bit worse for wear in recent weeks, and Willian looks destined to be given a chance in the first team.

A goal against Man City would have helped his confidence, and a start ahead of Pedro will contribute to that even further.

Expect a big display. Chelsea have missed him.
