What followed was not always pretty, but it was efficient from the Blues – and all it took was one Diego Costa chance in the second-half, and the Blues managed to hold on for an ultimately decisive 1-0 victory.

Unlike in previous weeks, everyone in the Chelsea first team looked impressive – but a few special shoutouts must go towards Diego Costa and the impressive Gary Cahill – with the English defender bouncing back masterfully after a couple of disappointing weeks in a Blue shirt.
