Chelsea have been on a roll as of late…

After the embarrassment of last season, Antonio Conte has had a lot of work to do at Stamford Bridge.

Things didn’t start too well, with a few poor results against the Premier League’s biggest sides – but the Blues have come back swinging.

They haven’t conceded in close to 10 hours, and in truth – nobody in the Premier League looks better right now.

A challenge for European football was expected this season, but it would appear that Chelsea are looking to go all the way.

The Blues have looked impressive, but this weekend represents an opportunity to put down a marker. The Blues come up against Tottenham on Saturday – and after defeats at Liverpool and Arsenal, Conte must prove that he can do it against the Premier League’s best sides.

He must get his team selection right, or he could risk losing the game.

With that said, if Conte picks this 3-4-3 Chelsea XI then they will surely dominate Tottenham…

 GK – Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois is Chelsea’s first choice goalkeeper, and you would expect that to continue against Tottenham.

He will need a good performance.

 CB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta has been as consistent as ever this season – but Tottenham will pose a real problem for him.

He must be on his game to stop Harry Kane.

 CB – David Luiz

Did you ever think that David Luiz would be the most secure of Chelsea’s defenders?

He has been the main man in this defence so far this season – and Kane will have no chance against him.

 CB – Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill, like his defensive partners, is in a rich vein of form – and his leadership will be necessary against Tottenham.

 LWB – Marcos Alonso

What a difference a few weeks makes.

Marcos Alonso looks right at home on the left-hand side of the Chelsea midfield.

He will need to be perfect offensively and defensively.

 CM – N’Golo Kante

After a slow start to life at Stamford Bridge, N’Golo Kante has become the rock in this Chelsea midfield.

He is absolutely unstoppable, but will need to work extra hard alongside his new midfield partner.

 CM – Cesc Fabregas

In truth, Nemanja Matic doesn’t deserve to be dropped – but Fabregas does deserve a chance in the limelight.

He knows all about facing Tottenham, and he will undoubtedly be determined to put on a good showing.

 RWB – Victor Moses

Like Alonso, Moses has been stellar for Chelsea as a wing-back.

Tottenham will be his toughest test yet. Will he be up to it? We think so.

 LW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard is looking back to his best.

He will have a huge say on the outcome of this game.

 ST – Diego Costa

Diego Costa is Chelsea’s player of the year so far, and his goals have been crucial.

He needs another big performance to rival Harry Kane.

 RW – Pedro

Willian deserves a chance in this team – but Pedro has simply been too good.

He suits this system perfectly, but he needs to add goals to his game.
