The games are coming thick and fast for Chelsea and Antonio Conte…

After last weekend’s victory against Middlesbrough, the Blues next challenge is a tough London derby – as Tottenham make the trip to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

The game is, like most London derbies, expected to be a fiery affair – particularly given the significance of the fixture between the pair last season.

Tottenham have started the season fairly well, though they have stumbled in recent weeks – and will want to prove that they are up to the challenge against Chelsea – whilst the Blues will be looking to continue their fine run of form.

Antonio Conte will need to ensure that his team selection is up to par, or he could risk losing it all against the Lilywhites.

Given that the Italian has used the same team over the last few weeks, a few changes are in order – but Conte must be wise to select them carefully.

With that said, Conte simply must start these 2 Chelsea players against Tottenham – agreed?

 Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas has been a bit-part player for Chelsea so far this season – but if any game calls for his inclusion, it is this one.

Nobody knows about playing Tottenham more than the Spaniard, and he will have several reasons for wanting to put on a good showing.

He has played for both Chelsea and Arsenal – and he knows how high profile and important games against the club are; and so will want to make sure that he gets one up on his old rivals.

What’s more, his lack of first team action surely has him chomping at the bit to put in a good performance and impress Conte.

If there is any game for him to put in a good showing – this is it. Conte should give him that chance.

 Victor Moses

Big games often call for the return of experienced players – but against Tottenham, this simply cannot happen.

Branislav Ivanovic has often been preferred in big fixtures in the past, owing to his years of experience at the top – but Moses deserves a chance to continue his fine form.

He has been, arguably, Chelsea’s best player so far this season – and he could continue that fine form.

He is the perfect player to man the right-hand side of the Chelsea defence.
