Chelsea have a number of players that simply need to go on loan in January…

The Blues have been in fine form this season, but their recent great performances have come with one caveat.

Several players have seen their opportunities diminish, and as Antonio Conte continues to find his best 11 players – this process will continue to worsen.

As a result, there are a few players in the Chelsea first team that simply aren’t going to get enough of a chance this season – and a loan might be the best course of action as they look to continue their development away from Stamford Bridge.

With that said, Conte simply must loan out these 2 Chelsea players in January – agreed?

 Dominic Solanke

Dominic Solanke has yet to get a single minute so far this season – and if that doesn’t scream loan then nothing does.

He is Chelsea’s 3rd choice striker this season – but the fine form of Diego Costa has meant that he has been given priority so far this season.

At 18-years-old, Solanke is at a crucial point in his development – and he simply must get regular game-time.

At present, it looks like he will only get that away from Stamford Bridge – and a loan away makes sense.

 Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Ruben Loftus-Cheek was afforded a fair few opportunities last season – but he has seen his chances diminish this year.

Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante have often been favoured ahead of the young Englishman, whilst Nathaniel Chalobah also looks to have broken past Loftus-Cheek in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Loftus-Cheek is one of the few Chelsea youngsters that has yet to go on loan, and a short-term move away certainly wouldn’t be the worst idea for the young midfielder.

A return next summer ahead of an increased first-team role makes a lot of sense.
