Despite a 2 week break, the Blues have returned to the Premier League in a very similar manner to which they entered it.
Despite the victory, Middlesbrough proved to be Chelsea’s toughest test in months – and the game remained uncertain right through until the final minute.
Boro did what the likes of Everton and Man Utd were unable to, and kept themselves in the game right until the end – despite a first-half goal from Diego Costa.
Despite a few nervy minutes in the second-half, the Blues looked great – and were great value for their win.
Excellent performances came from the defence right through to the attack – and at last, Chelsea are back at the top of the pile in the Premier League.
Retrospectively, this fixture could become the game to look back on if Chelsea continue to challenge for the title this season; so we thought it would make sense to visualise such a momentous occasion.
