It is a very similar story on the right-hand side, with Victor Moses really Chelsea’s only legitimate option with regards to right wing-backs.

Fabinho could be a great option, not least because of his versatility.

Able to play defensively, offensively, or even as a central midfielder – Fabinho could prove a jack of all trades for Antonio Conte.

This would plug a hole in midfield too, with Kante and Matic bearing much of the load so far.

This deal makes sense on so many levels.
