3 things Conte learned from Chelsea’s demolition of Leicester
Victor Moses
Victor Moses has been nothing short of a revelation at Stamford Bridge this season.
Brought back in a shock move by Antonio Conte, the Italian decided against loaning out Moses this season; and the Nigerian has duly repaid his faith with a number of impressive performances.
Leicester was his best yet, with Moses taking to his new role as wing-back like a fish to water; and offering the perfect balance of attack and defence in a team that has lacked such efficiency in recent months.
At this point, Moses is completely undroppable – and his performance against Leicester will have proven to Antonio Conte that he can be trusted; no matter the severity of the fixture.
If he had any doubts about the longevity of Moses as a wingback; they have almost certainly dissipated now.
