Chelsea vs Man Utd was always expected to be a huge fixture – but nobody was expecting what actually happened…

Clashes between the two clubs are often tight, cagey affairs – but this one was anything but.

The Blues looked dominant throughout, and a 4-0 scoreline certainly did Antonio Conte’s men justice.

In the end, it was a very one-sided victory, and Antonio Conte will be absolutely delighted.

As with any game, the Blues will be able to take a lot away from the game – but for a change; all of the takeaways today will be 100% positive.

With that said, here are 3 things Chelsea learned from their 4-0 victory against Man Utd

 Pedro

Pedro has had a bit of stop-start year at Chelsea, and has been unable to hold down a spot in the Chelsea first team thus far.

His start to this game, however, was anything but stop-start – as the Spaniard stepped up and capitalised on a mistake from the Man Utd defence.

We called for a big game from Pedro leading into the game, and he duly delivered.

Could this start his Chelsea career, at last?

 Big Game Victory

There have been some question marks over Antonio Conte and his ability to handle the pressure in the big games. The Blues have fallen to defeats against both Liverpool and Arsenal in recent weeks – but those fears were certainly put to bed this week.

A victory against Leicester City, the current Premier League champions, was one step – but a 4-0 victory against Man Utd has put aside any doubt.

Conte set his side up perfectly, and they never looked like losing.

If Chelsea can play like that every week – they can beat anyone.

 3-4-3 Is Working

We were all under the impression that a switch to the 3-4-3 formation was working, but the game against Man Utd proved that beyond doubt.

The Blues have struggled against big sides, and you can never truly test how well you’re doing until you beat one – and Chelsea did that dominantly today.

Chelsea looked unstoppable – and Antonio Conte’s formation switch has been proven to work against the biggest sides in the Premier League – and it will be our formation from here on out.
