The last week has certainly been no different, with a number of huge European talents linked with the Blues.

It hasn’t all been good news, though, as a few of Chelsea’s most talented players have also been touted with moves away this week – with a number of clubs circling over some of Antonio Conte’s most prized assets

Given the speed to which transfer rumours pop up, it is easy to miss a few of the important ones – and that is definitely something that we want to avoid.

So we’ve done the hard work and separated the fact from fiction to bring you the most important stories that you need to know.

With that said, here is the first in a series of weekly transfer roundups, including 4 of the biggest Chelsea transfer rumours from the last week…

 Bonucci to Chelsea

This story has been the most interesting Chelsea rumour of the last week by far – and signals a change of strategy from Antonio Conte.

Coming from the Daily Telegraph, Roman Abramovich is set to sanction a world-record move for the Juventus stalwart, in a move that could top £60 million.

The move has raised some eyebrows, given Bonucci’s age (29) – but there is no doubting the qualities that he would bring to Stamford Bridge, at least in the short term.

Easily one of the best defenders in Europe, Bonucci’s signing would be a serious statement of intent from Antonio Conte.

 Christensen to Barca

Slightly more worrying was a recent story by the Sun that suggested that Barcelona are keen on Chelsea starlet Andreas Christensen.

The Sun are reporting that the Catalan giants are eyeing a £20m move for the Dane.

The Danish defender has been impressing in the Bundesliga as of late, and most Chelsea fans are longing for his Stamford Bridge return.

Chelsea could be powerless to resist a move from the La Liga giants, but it is essential that they try to hold on to the heir apparent to John Terry.

 Matic to Milan

Di Marzio recently reported a story suggesting that Nemanja Matic had been spotted in Milan, immediately starting rumours that the Serbian could be off to Italy.

Granted, Matic has not been at his best as of late – but he has been somewhat reinvigorated under Antonio Conte thus far, and the Italian seemingly sees him as a key part of his plans going forward.

The picture is not conclusive evidence, as it could well have been a holiday for the tireless midfielder – but the rumour mill will continue to turn.

 Felipe Anderson to Chelsea

Felipe Anderson was touted with a Chelsea move by the Daily Mail in a deal that has seemingly come out of nowhere.

Not as big a name as any others on this list, Conte is reportedly eyeing up the versatile Brazilian winger as he looks to transition into a 5-at-the-back formation.

Anderson is well versed in playing as a wing-back, and this is assumingly why Conte is keen.

At 23 years old, Anderson could be the man to finally solve Chelsea’s full-back woes.
