Tammy Abraham is your typical number 9. He thrives on the shoulder of the last defender,  and is often seen running in behind the opposition defence.

However, he is not limited in that fact. He is pacey, skilful and technically gifted – as he displayed with his pair of goals for the England under-21s in mid week.  He is also aerially proficient, standing at 6ft2 – making him a threat from all angles.

Whilst he is well versed at playing as a lone striker, one area in which Abraham shines is his versatility. He can play as a number 9 to devastating effect, but he can also dominate as part of an attacking duo. He formed an excellent partnership with Dominic Solanke during his time in the Chelsea youth system as the pair lead Chelsea to victory with their frightening goalscoring tally.
