Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has poured cold water on speculation linking him with a big-money move for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann, who scored 22 times in a goal-laden first season in La Liga, has reportedly courted interest from Mourinho ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has a £43.5 million release clause and the Portuguese is adamant that he will not be arriving at Stamford Bridge this summer.

“Griezmann is a great striker but is not within our objectives to strengthen the squad for next season,” he told Marca. “We’re not interested.”

Chelsea fans – should we sign Griezmann? Let us know below.
