Inter Milan have stolen a march on their rivals in the pursuit of Chelsea winger Mohamad Salah, according to reports.
The Egypt international impressed on loan with Fiorentina in the second half of last season after failing to cement a first-team place under Jose Mourinho.
The Florence-based club are reportedly dithering with their decision to extend the loan by another 12 months and that indecision has allowed Inter into the race.
According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have touched with base with the 22-year-old’s agent over hijacking the move.
Salah, who scored six times in 10 Serie A starts, is contracted to the Blues until 2020, having only joined from Basel in January, 2014.
