Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has sanctioned a £30m bid for Argentina hitman Gonzalo Higuain, according to reports.

The 27-year-old Napoli striker, who played under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid, netted 19 Serie A goals last season and the Blues manager is said to be keen.

The Portuguese is in the market for another forward this summer after Didier Drogba left the club, with Loic Remy’s future also in doubt as of late.

Consequently, the West Londoners, who have also been linked with Radamel Falcao, have identified Higuain and will table a £30m offer, according to The Sun.

Chelsea fans – would you like to see Higuain at Stamford Bridge? Let us know below.
