Cesc Fabregas has told Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard to reproduce his Premier League heroics on the Champions League stage next season.

The 24-year-old picked PFA Player of the Year after a dazzling season in West London, playing leading roles in helping the club to Premier League and Capital One Cup glory.

In contrast, the Belgian and his team-mates struggled on the European platform, crashing out of the competition to Paris Saint-Germain in the last-16 stage.

Consequently, Fabregas hopes that Hazard can stamp his authority on the Champions League next time around and lead the club to the title.

“Next year he has to prove himself in the Champions League as well because he’s capable of it,” the Spaniard told Chelsea’s official website. “I am sure he will give many big nights of glory to this club.”

Can we win the Champions League next season? Let us know in the comments below.
