Out-of-favour Chelsea defender Filipe Luis has rubbished reports linking him with a move away, insisting that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge for the duration of his contract.

The Brazil left-back has struggled for first-team chances following a £16 million switch from Atletico Madrid in July, with Cesar Azpilicueta often favoured by Jose Mourinho.

Having started just seven Premier League games, speculation has mounted that a summer exit is on the cards, with Atletico reportedly keen on a reunion.

However, the 29-year-old, whose contract expires in 2017, has insisted that he is not going anywhere. He told ESPN: “I’m happy at Chelsea. I want to stay at the club until the end of my contract.

“We have a chance to win the Premier League. Everyone wants to be there to try to help the team to win the league.”

It was also reported that Jose Mourinho would use Luis as a makeweight in a player-plus-cash deal for £44m-rated Atletico ace Koke.
