Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that Eden Hazard ‘undoubtedly’ deserves to claim the PFA Player of the Year award this season.
The Belgian schemer has been in fine form for the Blues since August as Mourinho’s side close in on a Premier League title to add to their League Cup triumph last month.
The 24-year-old is odds-on favourite to scoop the award, but Spurs hitman Harry Kane and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez could provide stiff competition.
However, Mourinho was unequivocal in his assertion that Hazard has been the stand-out player this season.
“I think what he’s doing, speaking in a very honest way, it shouldn’t even be a debate,” he told reporters.
“If somebody throws other names on the table, it’s because he wants to sell papers, wants to throw some sand into people’s eyes, because this player (Hazard) is by far the best player in the Premier League all season.”
Well, to speak of the best player in BPL this season… Its there for all to see. Hazard is by far the best player no doubt or whatsoever. I hope the F.A will not be bias and give that to kane because he’s English. And if that happens… I’ll reserve my words for them.

Hazard has made 67 chances for his team-mates, level with team-mate Cesc Fabregas and three more than Stewart Downing in third.
He has also completed far more dribbles (112) than any other player in 2014-15, well clear of Arsenal pair Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (76) and Alexis Sanchez (74).
Hazard has also been fouled the most times (74) – Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling is second (60) – and made the most key passes in open play (61), ahead of Southampton’s Dusan Tadic and Sterling (both 53).
He’s also completed more passes in the final third (714) than anyone in the Premier League this season, well ahead of his team-mate Fabregas (573) and Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla (555).
Hazard has 8 assist 12 goals superior to his conterpart Alexis 14 goals while he has made all the stat at the top expect goals and assist which Kane/Costa and Fabregas has.
