Jamie Carragher has backed Chelsea schemer Eden Hazard to pick up this season’s Player of the Year award.

The Belgian winger has been arguably the Blues’ most consistent attack-minded player in a season that has already delivered a League Cup and, barring a miraclulous capitualiton, will also bring a Premier League title.

The 24-year-old’s main rivals appear to be Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Spurs hitman Harry Kane, but Carragher says that Hazard would be his selection.

“I think [Eden] Hazard has been the stand out player for them. I think he may just get the PFA Player of the Year, he’s someone I’d vote for,” Carragher said.

Has Hazard done enough this season to be the Premier League’s Player of the Year? Let us know below.
