Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly set to make a £15 million summer move for Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic.
Having dumped Jose Mourinho’s side out of the Champions League this week, PSG are now plotting to inflict further misery on the Blues by capitalising on the uncertainty surrounding his long-term future.
He will enter into the final year of his contract next season and negotiations over an extension are said to have reached an impasse, with the Serbian unhappy with the one-year extension that has been offered.
Consequently, PSG boss Laurent Blanc is keen to pounce on the precarious contract situation and will move for the 31-year-old this summer, according to The Express.
Earlier in the week it was reported that the Ligue 1 champions were also considering a move for Cesar Azpilicueta.
Ivanovic has scored an astonishing 31 goals since his £10m switch from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008.
