Piers Morgan has stuck the knife into Chelsea and Cesc Fabregas after the Blues crashed out of the Champions League on away goals last night.
Thiago Silva powered home a 114th-minute header at Stamford Bridge as Paris Saint-Germain advanced into the quarter-finals after the tie ended 3-3 – 2-2 on the night.
Consequently, Morgan – a lifelong Arsenal fan – was unrelenting in his jibes as the television personality added insult to injury with a Twitter rampage of sorts.
The 49-year-old singled out Fabregas, who spent eight years with the Gunners before leaving for Barcelona in 2011, writing: “You OK, amigo?”
You OK, amigo @cesc4official ?

Q. Which London team is still in the Champions League?
A. Ah, that would be us. #Arsenal

Incidentally, the Gunners are also facing a last-16 exit as Arsene Wenger’s side travel to Monaco next week needing to overturn a 3-1 deficit following a first-leg horror show in north London.
