Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is happy to see Mohamad Salah blossom with Fiorentina.
On-loan Salah looks to be enjoying a lease of life with the Viola after netting six times in his first seven games since joining the club in January.
Consequently, the 22-year-old winger was voted as the best winter signing by Serie A fans in a poll conducted by Gazzetta dello Sport, and Mourinho is delighted with his development.
“He’s doing well with La Viola, let’s hope that continues because it is just what we wanted when we wanted to send him to Florence,” the Portuguese told reporters.
The Egypt international joined Fiorentina in the deal that saw Juan Cuadrado move to Stamford Bridge.
