In-demand Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne would reportedly consider a shock return to former club Chelsea.

The 23-year-old has been in red-hot form for the Bundesliga side this season, with 14 goals and 23 assists attracting interest from Manchester City.

The Belgian schemer was sold by the Blues last January after struggling for first-team opportunities but, according to ESPN, De Bruyne is not adverse to the prospect of returning to Stamford Bridge.

His compatriot Eden Hazard recently suggested that Mourinho may have been wrong to let go off the Belgium international, whose Wolfsburg contract expires in 2019.

Should Chelsea re-sign him? Let us know in the comments below.
