The agent of Lazio midfielder and reported Chelsea target Felipe Anderson has confirmed that his client has plenty of suitors – but insisted that he was staying at the club.
The Blues and Manchester United are said to have dispatched scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action as the Brazilian’s star continues to rise in Serie A.
Anderson, whose contract expires in 2020, has netted four times in his last five outings and reports on Wednesday had suggested that £30 million was needed to prise him away from the Italian capital.
However, Stefano Castagna, his representative, has sought to dissuade his admirers by claiming that the starlet is perfectly happy at Lazio.
“The relationship between the club and player has always been good,” he told Radio Sei. “And we signed an important [contract] extension.
“There are definitely many clubs looking at him, but he is happy at Lazio.”
