Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has said that he is putting domestic rivalries to one side for one night only as he supports Arsenal in tomorrow’s Champions League clash with AS Monaco.

The Gunners travel to the Principality in need of a minor miracle as Arsene Wenger’s side must score at least three times in order to advance into the quarter-finals, having lost the first leg 3-1.

Following the Blues’ exit to Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester City – who face Barcelona at Camp Nou on Wednesday – remain England’s only representation in Europe’s elite competition.

And Hazard has no problem with shelving hostilities for the moment as he hopes to see our red neighbours prevail.

“I have a friend Ferreira-Carrasco over there [at Monaco] and I wish him the best. But for English football, I hope Arsenal go through,” the Belgian told Canal Plus.

What say you? Will you be cheering on our fellow Londoners, or would it please you to see them eliminated? Let us know in the comments below.
