Fabregas urges Chelsea to “kill” PSG

Cesc Fabregas believes that attack may be the best form of defence for Chelsea as they look to beat Paris Saint-Germain and book their place in the quarter-final of the Champions League.

Having drawn 1-1 at Parc des Princes three weeks ago, the Blues take a potentially decisive away goal into tonight’s second leg at Stamford Bridge.

Consequently, a goalless draw would see the 2012 champions advance into the last eight, but Fabregas wants his team-mates to go for the jugular and kill off Les Parisiens once and for all.

“If we can kill, we have to kill,” the former Arsenal midfielder told reporters.

“When we get one goal, we have to go for the second and after the second the third. That’s the only thing we can really improve.

“Hopefully we will have that killer instinct.”
