Didier Drogba is confident that Chelsea can fend off late challenges from Arsenal and Manchester United en route to winning the Premier League title.

It was suggested that Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Southampton had opened the door for the duo to enter the title race, with the Gunners seven points behind the Blues in third, with United a point further back.

Manager Jose Mourinho himself admitted that their slip-up with the Saints could have thrown their Premier League rivals a lifeline.

However, the Blues, who sit six clear of second-placed Manchester City, also have a game in hand – a visit to struggling Leicester City – and Drogba believes that Chelsea boast too much of an advantage.

“There is still a long way to go in the title race, we have to play Manchester United and Arsenal which will not be easy but we believe we can win our remaining games and become champions,” he told Galatasaray TV.

Will Chelsea make the most of their advantage and win the Premier League for a fourth time? Let us know below.
