Chelsea are among the clubs interested in taking out-of-favour striker Radamel Falcao off Manchester United’s hands this summer, according to reports.
The 29-year-old has scored just four times since joining the Red Devils on a season-long loan from AS Monaco and speculation is rife that they will decline the chance to sign him on a permanent basis.
Falcao has been an unused substitute in United’s last three outings and was forced to play an Under-21 game last week to preserve his fitness.
Nevertheless, he remains keen on staying in the Premier League and the Blues would be interested in offering him an escape route, according to The Mirror.
The Colombia international may be forced to accept a wage cut on his £265,000-a-week salary in order to link up with Jose Mourinho, while the Ligue 1 side would also have to lower their £44 million valuation.
Tottenham Hotspur are among those also reported to be in the hunt for his signature.
