Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that Paul Pogba’s “many suitors” are prepared to stump up the £55 million needed to prise him from Turin.

The French midfielder and reported Chelsea target is one of Europe’s hottest properties and Marotta says that his admirers are willing to bow to Juve’s valuation.

The 22-year-old has also been linked with Manchester United, whom he left on a free transfer in 2012 after failing to receive assurances over his future, but the Italian champions are keen to retain their prize asset.

“There are many suitors of Pogba,” he told reporters. “But we do not want to open negotiations and we want him to stay with us.

“There are clubs prepared to pay between €70m and €80m to sign him.”

The Frenchman remains contracted to the Serie A giants until 2019.

Is he worth a reported £55 million? Watch his showreel and tell us in the comments below.
