Lazio midfielder and reported Chelsea target Felipe Anderson is set to disappoint a host of clubs by signing a new contract, according to reports.
The 21-year-old enhanced his already-burgeoning reputation by netting both goals in Monday’s 2-0 win over Torino to alert the Premier League’s elite.
Among others, the Brazilian is thought to have courted interest from the Blues and Liverpool, with the latter viewing him as a long-term replacement for Los Angeles Galaxy-bound Steven Gerrard.
However, both clubs are set to miss out as Anderson prepares to ink a new deal to extend his stay in the Italian capital, according to the Daily Star.
His current Lazio contract expire in 2018.
