Chelsea’s official Instagram account has backed Jose Mourinho in his feud with Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness by posting a brilliant picture this evening.
Mourinho hit back at the ex-Liverpool pair, who criticised the Blues for surrounding referee Bjorn Kuipers immediatey before PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was red-carded in Wednesday’s Champions League exit.
During Sky’s live broadcast, Carragher labelled the Chelsea players’ behaviour as “disgraceful”, while Souness described it as “pathetic” and “not the British way”.
The Portuguese had suggested that neither pundit could be overly critical without being vulnerable to claims of double standards for what they had done in their respective careers.
And Chelsea’s Instagram has trolled the duo in spectacular fashion by reminding them of their involvement in similar situations.
