Douglas Costa has revealed that he is desperate to join Chelsea this summer after issuing yet ANOTHER come-get-plea to manager Jose Mourinho.
The frustrated Shakhtar Donetsk ace has reiterated his ambition to join up with the Blues after revealing that he is growing bored with the standard of Ukraine’s top flight.
Costa looked set to join the Stamford Bridge club in January but negotiations broke down after both clubs failed to agree on a transfer fee, but the 24-year-old’s desire to move has seemingly never waned.
Speculation has mounted that Chelsea and Shakhtar have now agreed an £18 million deal in principle, and the Brazilian admits that he is desperate to see the switch materialise.
He said: “I’m tired of playing in the same league. It’s time to change something. I want to try myself in a strong team that plays in a strong championship.
“ I want to play for Chelsea not just because my friend Willian plays there, but also because it’s the team coached by a great coach like Mourinho.
“With them I can achieve maximum height. I am now 24, and it is a mistake to try to persuade me to stay.”
Come on maan we need your athletism n never-say-die Brazilian attitude
