According to ESPN FC, Mourinho is monitoring Fiorentina’s Juan Cuadrado about a potential move this month.

26-year-old Cuadrado was part of the outstanding Columbian team in the 2014 World Cup, scoring the countries first goal in a 4-1 demolishing of Japan.

Chelsea are keen to add the Colombian to their wealth of attacking midfielders but only if one or two current ones depart. It is most likely that either Schurrle and/or Salah will have to depart before the signing becomes anything more than speculation.

Jose has made his position clear, “I will be happy if nobody leaves or comes this month but the market is open and you never know,”.

Due to Financial FairPlay regulations, the signing of Cuadrado would be expensive enough to require an expensive departure, so unless there is strong interest in an expensive Chelsea player, the deal seems unlikely at this current moment.

What do you think? Should Schurrle and Salah’s time at Chelsea be put to an end, and would Cuadrado be a good signing? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
