Mohamed Salah has made just 14 Premier League appearances for Chelsea since joining in the January transfer window last season.

The Egypt international has been far from explosive and it remains that he played better against Chelsea (with Basel) than he has managed for the Blues.

There is however hope of a career resurrection for Salah as Queens Park Rangers have an interest in his services. The fellow London club have recently signed Mauro Zarate on loan from West Ham and Redknapp is hoping to secure the 22-year-olds services for the rest of the season.

A loan move suits both Chelsea and QPR, and we wouldn’t be surprised if QPR’s interest springs other clubs into action.

Salah signed for a fee of around £11m a year ago.
