Glad to see that Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill, Willian and Samuel Eto’o were rewarded for their midweek performance against Schalke but slightly disappointed that John Obi Mikel did not get the nod ahead of Frank Lampard. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciated Lampard’s cameo on Wednesday night in the Champions League but believe that’s exactly the role he should be playing as an impact player in attacking positions, not as a deep lying midfielder as he hasn’t got the legs for it and it doesn’t suit him.
Nevertheless I think it’ll be a winning XI for Chelsea against former Blue Steve Clarke and his West Brom side.
