Chelsea player of the season Juan Mata was in action for Spain against the Republic of Ireland last night and got his name on the scoresheet (video below).
I know that nobody believes the rumours of him going to Real Madrid as it’s quite an obvious ploy by the press in the Spanish capital to unsettle the player but we would be crazy to even consider selling him. If they reckon Gareth Bale is worth over £80m then they’d want to be giving us something similar for Mata, but they won’t. I just can’t wait for Mata to come back to Chelsea and sign an improved deal.
