Hulk

Hulk is a very versatile player, than can player either as a striker or as a winger. His size makes him a big physical presence in the air and he is a handful for his opposition on most occasions. His value will be around 30-40 Million Pounds, so he does not come cheap and Mourinho may be keen to look at a cheaper and more suitable option.

Edinson Cavani

Cavani is a very efficient player to have on your team, as he can score goals at will. He was the 4th top scorer in the top 5 European leagues this season, so Napoli will have put a big price tag on him, believed to be around £54 Million. If Chelsea and Mourinho wants goals consistently then this surely has to be there number 1 target and it may just be a risk worth taking.

Edin Dzeko

Dzeko is one of those players that can do almost everything a striker has to do. He can hold the ball up, he’s a physical player in the air and he has got the ball skills at his feet. This player is a good option for Mourinho as he is a proven goalscorer in the league. Dzeko is also a good buy as he is not as expensive as Hulk or Cavani, but the question is whether City will sell to their Premier League rivals.

Mario Gomez

This German striker is a natural goalscorer, he proved that with Bayern Munich last year, becoming the top scorer in the Bundesliga and joint top scorer in the Champions League. The Blues could use a player like this, but he is very injury prone and Chelsea may not be very keen to take a gamble on him, but he is always an option.

Robert Lewandowski

This Polish player is one of real talent, at only 24 he has already written his name in Dortmund folklaw. He can score goals from all kinds of positions as he proved in the Champions League last season, leading the Borussia line all the way to the final in Wembley. He is only 24 so he still has his best years to come, and if Mourinho is looking long term then surely this will be one of his best options. Lewandowski only has one year left on his contract so Borussia will either sell him this summer or let him go for free next summer after he confirmed that he will not sign a new contract with the Germans…although he seems destined for Bayern Munich, unfortunately.
