It seems that there’s no rest for the wicked as the club has just completed a post-season tour in which they have played Manchester City twice and will play Singha All-Stars, Malaysia XI and BNI Indonesia All-Stars in Asia in July before they jet-off across the pond to play their three matches in the States, meaning they would have played at least eight games since the Premier League season has ended and won’t get a lot of rest following a long 69-game campaign.

However, it will provide the next manager with plenty of opportunities to use and have a look at our promising young talent such as Nathan Ake, Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who was impressive in the games against City before he was kicked off the park by the Citizens’ overzealous midfielders during last night’s game. We’ll also have a few new additions by then that everyone will be keen to get a look at.

The matches will be played between July 27th and August 7th will LA, Phoenix, San Francisco, New York, Indianapolis and an unspecified European city providing some of the venues, according to the official internationalchampionscup.com website
