Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been earning a lot of recognition for his debut season in the Premier League but his brother Thorgan is making his own waves this season and has been described as a revelation in Belgium.

The Chelsea youngster has been on loan at Jupiler Pro League Zulte-Waregem, who he has helped progress from mid table obscurity to title challengers at the Belgian club. They are currently leading the end of season play-offs with five games remaining after finishing in 2nd place during the regular season.

Much like his brother, Thorgan has played the majority of his games on the left-wing this season and has scored three goals as well as making several assists, which has earned him high praise and a call-up to his national Under-21 side.

The 20-year-old is delighted with his form this season and told Sport Magazine in Belgium:

“At Zulte-Waregem, I have showed who I am.”

He’s just one of the promising young Belgian talents that Chelsea possess within their ranks and despite not knowing what the future holds for him, he just wants to improve to try and make his way at Chelsea.

“Today, I do not know absolutely what will happen my future. I belong to Chelsea and it is for them to decide. On the field, I am aware that I must be more decisive, score more goals and give more assists.”

I think it is safe to say that he will be loaned out again next season and hopefully will continue to improve upon what he’s managed to already. It’s always good to hear our young players being praised which makes it all the more vital that Chelsea need to find a manager that is proven to bring talent through as it would be criminal to allow them to go to waste for a quick-fix.
