RP Online leading on the story.

The Belgian definitely won’t remain on loan at Werder Bremen, where he is currently, and it seems as though Chelsea are undecided about what they are to do with him. One option is to loan him to Bayer Leverkusen as the signing of Andre Schurrle to Stamford Bridge is imminent and it would open up a spot for the Belgian at the Bundesliga club.

However, Dortmund have no interest in signing De Bruyne on loan and would like to make any move a permanent one, RP Online says that it would be difficult for the deal to happen as Chelsea aren’t particularly keen on selling him but the question is how much badly the Champions League semi-finalists want De Bruyne and what they’re willing to give.

(Well, that’s the gist I got from the article but obviously there was a number of translation difficulties using Google translate.)

I don’t really want to see De Bruyne sold and I doubt Chelsea will be particularly thrilled by the reported fee, it won’t be enough to convince them to part with him. It would make much more sense for the Blues to send him to Bayer, a step up from Werder Bremen and allow him to continue his progress, although I believe he’s good enough to play in our first team as it is but there isn’t space for him currently.

I guess it all depends whether or not Dortmund are willing to up the offer to make it worthwhile for Chelsea or the West London club had an interest in one of their players and used De Bruyne in the deal, perhaps it’s a rumour to keep an eye on.

Bring him back to the bridge he should be ahead of Moses and I would even play him in the holding role instead of mikel or play Oscar deeper and play de brine out wide would be a waste of talent he is a top player and his a big future ahead of him
