Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole has been omitted from England’s starting XI to play against San Marino tonight so will likely be stuck on 98 caps, unless Roy Hodgson brings him on as a sub and ruins his 100% start record for each on of his caps.

But there is a blue in the team as Gary Cahill is set to partner Everton’s Phil Jagielka in central defence, so hope to see a good performance from him but it’s likely he won’t have a whole lot of work to do against the minnows San Marino.

England Starting XI v San Marino:

Hart; Walker, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines; Carrick, Cleverley; Walcott, Rooney, Oxlaide-Chamberlain; Welbeck.

This one could be a route with the bookies taking bets on all sorts of daft scorelines, how many do you think England will put past San Marino?
